The Reading Anxiety Tests (RATs) are questionnaires designed to detect elevated levels of anxiety related to reading.

There are five different RATs:

  • The RAT for Children - Self Report (RAT-C)

  • The RAT for Children - Parent Report (RAT-CP)

  • The RAT for Adolescents - Self Report (RAT-Ad)

  • The RAT for Adolescents - Parent Report (RAT-AdP)

  • The RAT for Adults (RAT-A)

One Reading Anxiety Test has been digitised, the RAT for Children, Parent report. This survey is for parents to fill out on behalf of their child. All five are available for download.
